I made a simple yoga mat spray with a few drops of lavender and melaleuca (tea tree) added to water in a re-purposed spray bottle. These are both calming, and antibacterial. The scents are invigorating and combine so nicely. Lavender is one of the most popular of the essential oils, due to is comforting scent, and long list of uses. It immediately soothes insect bites, sunburn, and other skin irritations. It invites deeper sleep when diffused aromatically, applied topically beneath the nose, or by placing a drop or two on your pillow case. Melaleuca is serious first aid for the skin and scalp, while also proving to be a powerful yet gentle disinfectant around the house.
This spray will double as a refreshing facial toner as well. Which is one reason why I am loving the oils so much. Their uses and benefits are endless! I will continue to share recipes and other ways to incorporate them. If you have any questions on their use, please comment or contact me.
I have my other favorite oils ready to go as well. You can read more about those over at the SHOP.
